I'm not sure if it was the nicest in NHL history. Ovi has done that move many times.

For me my top goals of all time are....

Ovi... The Goal
Ovi... backwards pass to himself against Montreal
Mike Hoffman... Gets a full rink pass in the air from Karlsson right on the stick.
Malkin... Pulling a Mario and powering through the entire team
Kane... Any one of his Shootout goals

Holtby should NOT be in the Vezina conversation.He has been solid this year but he hasn't stood on his head or been otherwise remarkable. He's been good. Don't get me wrong.

If they claimed Walker on waivers, don't they have to keep him up? You can't just claim a guy and then send him down... he'll have to go on waivers again and Edmonton can re-take him, no?

In NHL history, can I have some of what you are having?

You guys haven't noticed yet that hyperbole is James' favourite literary device of all time by a country mile and it's not even close, because hyperbole is so sick it's insane?

OV needs to pot a few again. I didn't even bother watching yesterday when I saw they were down 3 in the first.

Watching those old clips makes me happy...but also sad. Ovechkin's skating seems to have really deteriorated or something - maybe he just can't power-skate like he used it?

A big part of his game was ripping past defensemans, powering to the net, and banging that puck in, and I don't think he can do that anymore.

However, somehow the guy is still leading in goals, even with a pretty glaring deficiency in his game - really tells you about the talent his has!

Hopefully the break does the Caps some good - Happy Holidays goons
